Canadian Nutrition Specialist & Global Nutrition Specialist

The Canadian Nutrition Specialist is a 0.5 FTE role responsible for nutrition support across Canada, working with various teams to ensure Topigs Norsvin nutritional advice is transferred to these teams and ultimately the customer. It is a position shared (0.5 FTE) with Global Technical Services (GTS), and a member of Global Nutrition and Female Reproduction Service (GNFRS) team.

MSc in Swine Nutrition (Precision Feeding)
The Prairie Swine Centre is seeking passionate, bright, and highly motivated individuals interested in a fully-funded position as an MSc graduate student in the disciplines of swine nutrition – precision feeding. The successful candidate will join a strong, multidisciplinary academic and research team with expertise in non-ruminant nutrition, feed processing, management, welfare, metabolism, and physiology. The selected candidate will be enrolled in the Department of Animal and Poultry Science and will receive their degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
The anticipated start date is January 2026.
The successful candidate will lead and assist with projects involving both classical swine nutrition (e.g., growth performance, nutrient utilization) and advanced (e.g., immune status, nutrient modelling) techniques. The current nutrition research program is focused on the impact of early-life nutrition on growth, the impact of nutrition on health, and factors affecting nutrient requirements and utilization.
