On June 2, Meals from the Farm will provide a unique opportunity for kids and communities across Saskatchewan to learn more about where their food comes from. In cooperation with Ag in the Classroom Saskatchewan, Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan will offer a series of online webinars with farmers and chefs about farming and cooking with Saskatchewan-grown foods, including Saskatchewan made bacon. Sask Pork is a proud supporter of this unique collaboration with four urban schools across the province that culminates with a free breakfast featuring Saskatchewan-grown foods, including Saskatchewan pork, to about 900 school kids. This event merges two previous programs into one: Ag in the City and Breakfast From the Farm. Watch for Sask Pork’s new Pig Tales activity book in every swag bag!
